TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Effective Date: August 1, 2025
1. SUBSCRIPTION COMMITMENT AND DURATION
1.1 Annual Commitment: All subscribers must commit to a minimum one (1) year subscription period from the date of enrollment.
1.2 Cancellation Policy: Subscription cancellations will take effect only upon completion of the full one-year commitment period. Early cancellation is not permitted except under the conditions specified in Section 1.3.
1.3 Property Sale Exception: Contracts may be terminated prior to the completion of the one-year commitment if the subscribed property is sold and the new property owners elect not to continue the subscription service.
2. SERVICE LIMITATIONS AND RESTRICTIONS

2.4 Seasonal Restrictions: Water heater flushes are not performed between November 1st and March 31st due to potential freezing temperatures.
3. INCLUDED MATERIALS AND ADDITIONAL COSTS
3.1 Included Materials: Standard LED light bulbs and batteries are included in subscription services.
3.2 Specialty Items: Specialty bulbs and non-standard materials will be supplied at additional cost to the subscriber.
3.3 Seasonal Inspections: Seasonal checks are inspections only and do not include repairs. Any necessary repairs will be quoted separately.
4. SUBSCRIBER BENEFITS AND PRICING

5. SAFETY REQUIREMENTS AND SITE CONDITIONS
5.1 Pet Security: All pets must be properly secured during technician visits. If a technician arrives and determines the environment is unsafe due to unsecured pets or aggressive pet behavior, they reserve the right to leave immediately. Incomplete service due to pet-related safety concerns will result in a minimum $150 return fee.
5.2 Child Safety: Children must be kept away from work areas for safety purposes. Technicians reserve the right to terminate service appointments if repeatedly interrupted by children in work areas.
5.3 Customer Interaction: While customers may ask questions, inquiries should be made before work begins or after completion. Excessive interruptions during service that prevent timely completion will result in additional charges billed in 30-minute increments.

7. COMPANY RIGHTS AND TERMINATION
7.1 Right to Refuse Service: Squared Away Home Improvements reserves the right to refuse service to any client for any reason at any time.
7.2 Right to Terminate: Squared Away Home Improvements reserves the right to terminate any subscription contract for any reason with appropriate notice.
8. GENERAL PROVISIONS
8.1 Modification: These terms and conditions may be modified by Squared Away Home Improvements with thirty (30) days written notice to subscribers.
8.2 Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Idaho.
8.3 Severability: If any provision of these terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
